Terms & Conditions

1. Ordering Section

a     We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and we reserve the right not to deliver if we are unsure of this.
b     As we despatch our goods via a third party courier, the courier will not deliver the good to anyone who appears to be under the age of 18. If you appear to be under 21, a proof of identity may be required.
c     We cannot guarantee availability of all products. In the event that a product is unavailable when you place your order, we shall contact you to arrange a replacement, or another acceptable arrangement for the completion of your order.
d     The placing of an order anywhere on our website does not constitute a contract, which is made only when we accept your order and process payment.
e     We reserve the right not to accept any order.
f     Our minimum purchase is 12 bottles of wines and spirits, any mix multiples of 6 bottles can be added after the first 12 bottles.
2. Delivery
a     For our delivery We use Western Couriers ltd. an independent courier. The delivery is normally next day delivery by 4pm, Monday to Friday for orders made by 11.30am. Orders made on Friday by 11.30am will be normally delivered on the following Monday. For Saturday delivery extra rate will apply.
b     For delivery on a specific day please leave instructions at checkout.
c     Please note we use an independent couriers Western Couriers ltd.  and we are not responsible for delays or any other disruption to your delivery unless caused by our negligence. Your next day delivery is an indication only and we cannot guarantee that goods will be delivered the next day. For any enquires please refer to our address(section 5c.)
d     After the first attempt of delivery you will be responsible for making your own arrangements for redelivery with the courier.
e     We do not deliver outside the UK.  However delivery to the Channel Islands is subject to special rate delivery.
f     Please do check the goods upon arrival. Once delivery is accepted and signed for we will assume the goods have arrived to you in perfect conditions. In the unlikely event that you find any spillage or broken bottles, please notify the driver immediately before signing.We will not be responsible for any damage of goods once delivery has been accepted.
g     We cannot guarantee delivery in original packaging.

 

3. Prices
a     All prices are inclusive of UK VAT.
b     Promotional offers and prices are as stated, with no further discounts available. Therefore you cannot combine any offer, vouchers or discounts.
c     Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on this website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.If you decide not to order the items, we will give a full refund of any amount already paid for those items in accordance with our cancellation policy).
d     We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods at our discretion at any time before (but not after) we accept your order.
e     Where an end date is specified on any offer on the website, it is intended as a guide only. We reserve the right to change the offer at any time.

 

4. Refund
If you are entitled to a refund we will refund you as follow:

  1. If you paid by payment card we will refund you on the payment card.
  2. Usually refunds are made within 7 to 10 working days.

4. Returns
a     We cannot offer a refund if simply you do not like the wine, only if it is faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.
b     We will provide a full refund for any wines that are faulty.
c     You should inform us of a Faulty wines within 14 days from the purchase date.
d     You are required to return of a Faulty wine in within 7days from reporting the fault to us. However you are responsible for the cost of arranging a return to our address.
e     If goods are not returned to us within the time specified in section 4d we will not be able to issue any refund.
f     We can only refund faulty wine, if return to us in the original bottles, with original labels and cork, and with no less than 2/3 of content still in the bottle.

 

5. Cancellation policy
a     You may cancel your order at any time up to 7 days after delivery. Should you decide to cancel, you will be refunded the value of your goods purchased. However delivery charges are not refundable.
b     Goods must be return unopened and in merchantable condition to our address at your own expenses no later than7 working days from your cancellation.
c     We retain the right not to refund goods returned to us later than 7 working days from cancellation.

We will try to sort out any complaint within 48 hours of receiving them.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales and any disputes will be decided only by the English & Welsh courts.

 

6.  Disclaimer
a     Please be aware that some of the wine may have some natural sediments at the bottom of the bottles, which are completely natural by-product of unfiltered wine bottling process. This does not affect the quality of the product, nor it is dangerous to your health. Instead it may in fact reflect the authenticity of our wine.
b     Note also that Tannins are a distinctive characteristic of certain red wines .They give an astringent, dry sensation on the tongue. Therefore we cannot consider this as a faulty condition.
c     We recommend to consume the wine in the same day of opening a bottle.
d     however wine can be consumed if correctly stored within 2 or 3 days after opening: the taste might be altered by natural oxidation if left for longer.
e     Once opened, to prevent the taste to deteriorate quickly, we would recommend to store your wine sealed and away from direct sunlight.
f     Pictures display on our website (incl. Recipes, bottle, label) are for information only, some producers may change bottles, labelling and vintages without any previous notifications).

 

7. Data protection act
Your details will be stored in accordance with data protection act 1998 and will not be shared with any third party unless required to do so by law. Personal details including your e-mail address will only be collected and used to filfill your purchased orders. However we may use your details to inform you of any offers or news about the Vinitalia.
